Liam Grunwaldt: Tech Mentoring
inclusive it | specialised support
About Liam
Hello!
I'm Liam Grunwaldt and I am an ICT specialist [Information and Communication Technology] and self-confessed nerd who graduated from Monash University in 2007 [Bachelor of Information Systems].

Since graduating, I have maintained nearly two decades of consistent professional development, ensuring that I stay current with evolving technologies and trends.
I have worked in just about every corner of Australia and internationally in my role as an ICT specialist, across a range of industries [sport, broadcasting, education] solving complex technical problems, upskilling and supporting various businesses, organisations, individuals, educators and students.

In recent years, my focus has shifted to wanting to share my knowledge and skills with individuals in a more meaningful way, particularly with people who have faced barriers to accessing this type of specialised skill-building and support.
I am excited to bring my passion and expertise to my local community, offering specialised support and mentoring to people of all ages and abilities. My aim is to create a space that takes away the overwhelm and replaces it with empowerment! Technology should be fun and helpful, not scary and harmful!

You might also like to know that I am a born and raised local and I am proud to call Ballarat my home. Outside of work, I am a sports enthusiast, a die-hard Saints supporter [don't be too hard on me for that], a casual statistician, gamer, collector, Level 73 Pokémon GO trainer, film buff, Marvel Cinematic Universe aficionado, and I enjoy traveling and going to concerts.

I bring both professional and lived experience with supporting neurodivergent people and those experiencing mental health challenges. I am also a family man, proud and dedicated dad to two energetic boys and a big, goofy golden retriever, who certainly keep me on my toes and young at heart.

I encourage questions!

If the answer you are seeking is not here, please reach out to me and ask.
What are your fees?
My fees for both individual private paying clients and NDIS participants are in alignment with the 2025/2026 NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits.

$70.00 / hour - Monday to Friday
$98.00 / hour - Saturday
$127.00 / hour - Sunday
Do you provide a helpdesk service? Can I call you to come and fix my computer or connect my wifi?
No - I am not a call out service. I provide a mentoring and capacity building service that is focused on working toward achieving your specific goals and building greater independence. I am able to see you to guide and teach you how to do these things for yourself.
What if I don't have access to transportation?
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
What NDIS line numbers do your services fall under?
If I have a specific skill or goal, will you provide me with a clear plan on how we will work on this?
If needed, I can come to you [within Ballarat region] or I can provide transport to/from my office [located in Redan, Ballarat]. There are additional fees that apply to cover the cost of this service.
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, I have a 48 hour policy for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. If ample notice is not provided, the full fee of your appointment will apply.
Typically, support services align with capacity building and daily living skills, but it is always best that we check this with your plan manager / support coordinator / local area coordinator.
Yes, absolutely! This may also include providing clear, easily to follow materials [written information, diagrams, step-by-step instructions].
What hours do you work?
I work flexible hours to suit my clients and my family.
